First what is Chloroquine and from what it is extracted?
Chloroquine is a medication primarily used to prevent and treat malaria which is aparasitic infection in areas where malaria remains sensitive to its effects.

In the past in south america the indigenous people extracted the bark of the Cinchona tree (Cinchona officinalis) and used the extract to fight chills and fever in the seventeenth century. In 1633 this herbal medicine was introduced in Europe, where it was given the same use and also began to be used against malaria what later developed to hydroxychloroquine which is less toxic than Chloroquine.
The use of hydroxychloroquine in treatment of covid 19 infections:

Depending on their clinical presentation, azithromycin was added to the treatment. Untreated patients from another center and cases refusing the protocol were included as negative controls. Presence and absence of virus at Day6-post inclusion was considered the end point
So many countries begin to use hydroxychloroquine in it, s protocol in treatment and prophylaxis for corona virus infections one of the most important countries that encouraged the use of hydroxychloroquine with Azithromycin is usa and the president trump annonuced that hydroxychloroquine and Azithromycin combination is the best medication for covid 19 infections
But today spain annonuced that the hydroxychloroquine have no role in treatment for covid 19 infections and the war still The war is still burning between supporters and opponents.....
But in my opinion use of hydroxychloroquine is very important in prophylaxis and early treatment only.
